The year is the first thing to create, because everything else belongs to it. A school can run three terms, two semesters, four quarters, or a calendar it states itself.
What to do
- Open Academic years and create the year. Name it the way the school names it, for example 2025/2026.
- Add the terms the year is divided into, in the order the school runs them.
- Check the school's settings if the words on screen should say semester or quarter rather than term. The term screens follow the school's own statement.
Before the first mark
The shape of a year is hard to change once marks exist in it. Decide the terms and their names before the first assessment.
