Walk: correct a mark after publication

A reason, a review and a new version, with the earlier one still readable.

Role: Administrator. This walk assumes:

  • A published term with at least one mark
  • Two administrators, so the review is by someone other than the requester

This walk uses a published term, so the change cannot edit what a parent was shown. It ends with the earlier version and the new one both readable.

The walk

  1. Open the published term's history and note the version.
  2. Open the class's results and ask for a correction with a reason.
  3. Approve the correction as a second person.
  4. Reopen the history: a new version exists, and the earlier version is unchanged.
