Walk: a school's first week

Five days from setup to a correction, so the second week is quiet.

Administrator

Walked on 2026-10-31, the local demo school (Greenfield Academy)

Role: Administrator. This walk assumes:

  • A demo school with a year and at least one class

The five days

  1. Day one: the year and its terms exist.
  2. Day two: the classes, subjects, students and teacher assignments exist.
  3. Day three: one subject's marks are entered and the worked-out result is checked against the school's own arithmetic.
  4. Day four: one mark is corrected through the correction path, and the trail is read.
  5. Day five: stop. Do not publish a trial term; publish a real term once its marks are final.
