Publish a term's results

Fix the term's results as the school's official record, and read the version that was published.

Administrator

Publishing takes every class and subject the term holds, works out each student's result and rank from the school's own rules, and fixes the whole set as one record.

Before you publish

  1. Check the marks. Open the term's marks and look for a blank line where a mark should be.
  2. Check the grading rules for each subject. A subject with no rules cannot have weighted assessments.
  3. Publish once, from Publish results. The screen asks for the term and shows what will be fixed.

A published result stays as issued

Publishing again adds a new version. The earlier one stays exactly as it was, which is why a report printed in March still matches the record in May.

If you publish too early, publish again after the correction. Do not try to edit the earlier version; the record of what a parent was shown is the point.
